The Attention Deficit Simulation

This workshop enables parents, professionals, and other interested community members to gain first hand experience in what a typical school day feels like for students with attention challenges. Through six activities, the Attention Challenges Simulation provides participants with a glimpse into the world of a student with attention deficits.

This workshop not only increases empathy, understanding, and patience, it helps parents and teachers to facilitate and implement practical strategies.

This simulation can be effectively used for both large and small groups of parents and teacher groups.

This workshop is dual purposed: it gives participants knowledge of symptoms and signs of ADHD students, but also helps them walk away with a better understanding of the frustration of high potential children facing attention challenges.
